Last year Adventure Access brought Voluntourism to Northern Sichuan when a group of high school students from various Asian countries such as the Philippines, Thailand, Nepal, Cambodia, etc… traveled for a week with us to various locations. While in Songpan County they built two greenhouses as a pilot project in an area that has not used greenhouses in the past. During a recent visit, Brian and a visiting US Forest Ranger were able to check on the results. We were pleased to hear that the homes with the greenhouses were able to grow vegetables all winter long. The locals were shocked by the use and productivity of these structures.
