Introduction
More than just reaching Everest Base Camp, this trek offers amazing experiences from start to finish. It is also one of the most classic routes in Nepal.
Begin your Nepal itinerary in Kathmandu with a warm welcome from your guide at the airport. Two nights in Kathmandu at the beginning of your tour allows for a cultural tour in the heart of Boudha, meals with your trekking companions and guides, and an orientation to cover the details of the tour and packing guidance from your lead guide.
Fly to Lukla, experiencing one of the most breathtaking airport destinations in the world. Trek through highlights of the Sagarmatha National Park such as Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, and Everest Base Camp. See the itinerary below for full details on locations. Trekking concludes in Periche with our exit from the region on helicopter, giving you a scenic flight back to Kathmandu.

Itinerary
Day 01- Arrive in Kathmandu, meet your guide, and transfer to hotel
Day 02- Cultural tour in Boudha, trip orientation, and dinner with your guide and group
Day 03- Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (3-4 Hrs 2640m/ 8659ft)
Day 04- Trek to Namche Bazaar (6-7 Hrs 3450m/ 11316ft)
Day 05- Acclimatization Day Hike- Visit Khumjung Village and return to Namche Bazaar
Day 06- Trek to Deboche (5-6 Hrs 3860m/ 12660ft)
Day 07- Trek to Dingboche (6-7 Hrs 4420m/ 14497ft)
Day 08- Acclimatization day- Hike to Nagarjunga viewpoint and return
Day 09- Trek to Lobuche (4-5 Hrs 4910m/ 16104ft)
Day 10- Trek to Kala Pathar (5620m/ 18433ft) for a sunset view of Everest and return to Gorak Shep for the evening (8-9 hours 5180m/ 16990ft)
Day 11- Trek to Everest Base Camp (5364m/ 17593ft) and back to Pheriche (6-7 Hrs 4220m/ 13841ft)
Day 12- Heli from Pheriche to Kathmandu
Day 13- Day in Kathmandu
Day 14- Final Departure Day
Other Information
This itinerary is designed around a trekking route from Lukla to Everest Base Camp to Pheriche, maximizing the potential for a transformative experience on the trail. From Pheriche, we arrange a heli-tour back to Kathmandu to minimize some of the toil in hiking down from Pheriche to Lukla. This includes a fantastic helicopter flight from the region back to Kathmandu, and shortens the overall itinerary by 2-3 days.
